Today at 3 PM on 3ZZZ Romanian Radio I will have a special guest joining me in the studio: Daniel Ionita

Daniel Ioniță is the coordinator of the “Testament – 400 Years of Romanian Poetry” project, one of the most important anthologies dedicated to Romanian poetry translated into English.

He is also the recipient of the “Antoaneta Ralian” Translation Award (Gaudeamus Bucharest 2019), as well as the award granted by the magazine Literatura și Arta in Chișinău in the same year.

We’ll be discussing poetry, cultural identity, translation, the Romanian diaspora, and how Romanian culture can cross borders and generations through the power of words.
